WIW: Gingham (added sandal detail shots)

Back at work after a week vacation! While I was off we went camping and I pretty much wore the same two outfits the whole time (BF + Linen T + fleece, or gear pants, mesh-sleeved sweater and fleece!).

I have come back to so much to do, it feels daunting!

Anyhow, this is just an office AC outfit. My feet are going to be cold, but I hope the cutouts offset the clunkiness a little. I just rolled and took some pics so you can see the sandals better.

Shirt: Zara
Belt: Bootlegger
Jeans: Gap
Sandals: Dr Martens

Love it. Doc sandals are SO cool! And the gingham is great -- it's a nice feminine take on the plaid shirt and a great balance to the shoes. I always love what you wear, Ceit.

Camping for a week must be so much fun.
You are ready to get back in the flow with this outfit. As always the footwear is so fun and stylish.

Looks like a nice easy outfit to transition back to the real world from vacation.  Gingham is such a nice fresh pattern and I especially like it in blue and white.

You look great in gingham!! And the sandals look good, too. Are they comfy?

Hope you had a good holiday!

Ceit you look fab! Now this inshore I like to see gingham worn. And Doc Martens should hire you as their spokesmodel!

I love the gingham on you Ceit ... it works so well and adds a feminine touch without being girly, if that makes sense. Fresh and smart, I love it.

So hard when you first come back from vacation! I always love holidays so much more than vacation as everyone is off. :) well, at least everyone in the US office.

You look fab and ready to take on the challenge!

Love those sandals, and so nice to "see" you again!  I have a similar gingham shirt that will be getting worn as soon as it's cool enough :)

There you are. I've missed you, Kate.

Great look. You had me with the gingham. Super fun with the Docs. xo

You're a natural with navy ginham --- and the clunk of the shoes is just right --- bold and modern, but not overpowering.

Summer Ceit! You look great, and the shoes definitely aren't too clunky, but I hope your feet don't get too cold. :)

Ooh, fun sandals.  They match your style but make your outfit seem summery.  I hope you stay warm enough.

I heard the call of gingham... :D

Any time I see the word "gingham," I have to look and you knighted it with your Docs.  Love your outfit.  Clever you and as for all that work, take it in little chunks and savor those wonderful camping memories in between.

You look ready to buckle down and get to work. I really like the wash on those jeans and of course I love the docs.
