WIW: Faux leather

I love this outfit. I was going to wear tall boots as a no-brainer but decided to try shorter boots for a change. I will be wearing the sweater all day (warmth and to hide my scoliosis!), just took photos without so you can see it.

Any ideas how else I can style this top? It's a thick stretchy knit with PU panels on the front. I was thinking maybe layered over my marble print dress?

Sweater: Suzy Shier
Top: Zara
Jeans: Gap
Boots: Dr Martens Pascal

Can't see what you are hiding at all. That top looks great on you!

Ceit I really really like this:). The faux leather top is a great piece and the knit sweater looks so good over it.

Would you layer a white button down under the top? Wear it over a pencil skirt?

Love the modern support show for the waterfall cardi. Really nice. I think the faux leather top could be used like a vest in addition to as the underlayer.

Cool! Nice juxtaposition of soft and tough. You look great!

Love this look Ceit! The soft cardi and tough leather are fab.

Great top! Looks great with the sweater.

I love the top and sweater together!  I think you look fine without the sweater too.  Your scoliosis is probably only noticeable to you.  I have it too and one shoulder is higher than the other.  I have had most of my tanks tailored to shorten one shoulder or one side will droop.  It's another reason (besides a really flat bust) that most wrap style tops don't work on me.

Ooh! A perfect Ceit look!  I would have never noticed the assymetry without you pointing it out.  But I love the justaposition of the soft sweater and the tough leather too.

Loving the way you combined edgy leather with flowy softness and backed it up with denim and rugged boots.  So perfect, Ceit.

Love the tough leather top with the soft cardi! The top might also be fun over a button front shirt/blouse - he urban knight's version of a sweater vest!

I love it! Seeing you in this cements why the metallic peplum was just okay.  This has the same kind of toughness, but it looks so much more natural on you and so much more fitted. Maybe it is the sleekness of this?  Not that this was a choice--I understand this is something you already had.  It's just that seeing how this, which to me has a similar role, works so well puts the other in stark relief.

Would you consider wearing this with a crewneck sweater underneath? Or would you feel too exposed in it without a cloaking layer?  (And agreed that you notice it, but it is almost impossible for the rest of us to see.)

The faux leather top is gorgeous, and it looks extra fab with the drapey sweater.

You look amazing. I would love to see you in a longer, tailored sweatercoat or soft blazer with this top.

Dana, have you come across any good sweater coats lately? I have been looking for about two years!
